Meet Anne
I was born, many years ago, in St. Catharines Ontario. In 1963, I was the first graduate of the brand new York University in Toronto. I followed a job out west to Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, and fell in love with the wide open spaces of the prairies. For years I taught school in Regina, kindergarten to grade three.

I loved this book as it really shows the Métis culture and for the fast that it shows how it is passed from generation to generation. I appreciated the fact that the Grand-Pa talk about learning it from the time he was in his mother’s womb and the fact that the little boy learned by standing on his Grand-Pa’s feet really touched me… I LOVE THIS BOOK.

Amazon Review for Fiddle Dancer
An exciting historical novel that I read to my young boys. They kept begging for one more chapter! I looked forward to finding out about each adventure as well. I hope there’s going to be a third book in the series!

Amazon Review for Through Flood and Fire
I was excited to find out that the sequel to Full Steam To Canada had been published and I wasn’t disappointed. Raised on the prairies myself and a life time devotee of Anne of Green Gables, it was a delightful to read a story about a plucky young girls adventures in a part of Canada that is close to my heart. I can hardly wait until my grandaughter is old enough for her and I to read this series together…
